This policy explains how Travel agency EURO SAVA DOOEL Skopje ("Eurosava", "we") collects and uses personal data when you visit this website, book a holiday or contact us. We process personal data under the Law on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of North Macedonia (Official Gazette no. 42/20 and 294/21).
1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller of your personal data is Travel agency EURO SAVA DOOEL Skopje, Dame Gruev 16, local 3, DTC Paloma Bjanka, 1000 Skopje, North Macedonia. For any question about your data, or to use your rights, write to info@eurosava.com or to our address.
2. Which data we collect
- When you book: the name, email and phone of the person who books; for every traveller the title, first name and surname, date of birth and the date the passport expires; the holiday you chose, the extras and what you wrote in the note.
- When you pay online: the amount, the time and the bank's reference of the payment. Card details are entered on the secure page of Halkbank AD Skopje (3D Secure). We never see or store your card number.
- When you write to us or apply for a job: your name, email, phone and what you send us.
- When you subscribe to our offers: your email address.
- When you use the chat: the messages you write, so that the answer can be given.
- When you browse: technical data that every web server records (IP address, browser, time and page), and the cookies described in section 8.
We do not ask for special categories of data (such as health data). Please do not send them unless they are needed for your trip, for example a request for assistance at the airport.
3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Booking and carrying out your holiday: flight, hotel, transfer, documents, payments, messages about the booking | The contract with you, and the steps you ask for before it is made |
| Invoices, accounting and the records travel agencies must keep | Our legal obligations |
| Answering your questions, handling complaints, protecting the website from misuse and fraud | Our legitimate interest |
| Sending offers by email | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
| Selecting candidates for a job | The steps you ask for before an employment contract, and your consent |
If you book for other people, you confirm that you may give us their data and that you have told them about this policy.
4. Who receives your data
Only those who need it to provide your holiday or who process it for us:
- the airline, the hotel, the transfer company and our representatives in the destination;
- the insurance company, if you buy insurance with the booking;
- the bank that processes your card payment;
- the partner agency, if you booked through one;
- companies that provide us with hosting, email and software, under a contract that binds them to protect the data;
- state bodies, when the law obliges us (for example border, tax or inspection authorities).
We do not sell your data and do not give it to others for their marketing.
5. Transfer to other countries
Your holiday takes place abroad, so the data needed for the flight and the hotel is sent to the airline and the hotel in the destination country, for example Turkey. This transfer is necessary to carry out the contract you made with us. Our website and booking system are hosted in the European Union. If you use the chat, your messages are processed by our technology provider, which may be outside the European Union. Where the law requires additional safeguards for a transfer, we apply them.
6. How long we keep it
- Booking and payment data: for as long as the accounting, tax and tourism laws require, and for the period in which legal claims can be made.
- Questions and complaints: until they are resolved, and up to three years after.
- Email address for offers: until you unsubscribe.
- Job applications: until the selection is finished, and at most one year after.
- Server records: a short period needed for the security of the website.
7. Your rights
You have the right to be informed, to see your data and receive a copy, to have it corrected, to have it deleted or its processing restricted where the law allows, to receive it in a portable form, to object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and to withdraw a consent at any time. We answer within one month. Using these rights is free of charge.
If you think we handle your data unlawfully, you can file a request with the Agency for Personal Data Protection (Агенција за заштита на личните податоци), Skopje, azlp.mk.
8. Cookies
A cookie is a small file the website stores in your browser. This website uses:
- Necessary cookies: one session cookie that keeps your language, currency and the steps of your booking, and a security cookie that protects the forms. The website cannot work without them, so they do not need your consent. They are deleted when the session ends.
- Storage in your browser: the hotels you save as favorites are kept only in your own browser.
The map on a hotel page and the fonts are loaded from other providers (such as Google), which receive your IP address when the page loads. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will ask for your consent first. You can delete or block cookies in the settings of your browser; without the necessary cookies, booking will not work.
9. Security
We protect your data with technical and organisational measures: the connection to the website is encrypted (HTTPS), access to bookings is limited to the employees who need it, and card payments are handled only by the bank. No system is completely secure; if a breach puts your rights at risk, we will inform you and the Agency as the law requires.
10. Children
Online bookings can be made only by adults. Data of children who travel is given by their parent or guardian.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The new version is published on this page with its date; for important changes we inform the people it concerns.
